I am currently taking new clients in Grinnell and Newton (office space in both towns). Next day appointments are often available and I can accommodate evening and some Saturday appointments. I utilize a client-centered approach to therapy and prefer to focus on strengths and solutions rather than dwelling on problems. I focus on the therapeutic relationship as the means of implementing change. As a clinician I take environmental, relational, and emotional factors in to account during treatment.
