I am a licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) through Iowaand a dually licensed Social Worker (LCSW) and Addiction Counselor(LAC) in Colorado with over 15 years of experience in behavioralhealth. I believe in taking a collaborative and strengths-based approach to helping clients reach their goals. My approach is eclectic borrowing from various therapeutic modalities, techniques and curriculums, such as, CBT, Mindfulness, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Seeking Safety, and STEPPS. I am trained in EMDR. I have experience working with adolescents and adults in detention centers, group and individual therapy, withdrawal management, inpatient and outpatient mental health/substance abuse treatment.
