“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom" (Anais Nin). You know when it's time to make a change. I received my master's degree in counseling from Drake University in 2012 and I have been a school counselor for 11 years. I love meeting clients where they are at and journeying with them toward wholeness.Whether the struggle is depression, anxiety, chronic illness, stress, grief, or perhaps a painful relationship - there comes a tipping point when you are ready to make that first step toward hope. I also work in the area of pregnancy and post partum mental health. I have had the privilege of helping adolescents, adults, and couples get 'unstuck' from a wide range of issues. I work with ages 12 and up. I truly care about every individual and couple that I work with and am committed to their growth and well-being. With that in mind, lets demystify the therapy process together and take that first step toward healing!
