Hi, I'm Marissa! I am an LMHC and have been in practice since 2014. I'm passionate about helping little kids cope with big feelings and adults cope with past trauma. My main therapeutic modalities are play therapy techniques, internal family systems, and acceptance and commitment therapy. However, I also employ a variety of therapeutic approaches to help clients meet their goals. My view is that the most important ingredient in therapy is the relationship between the therapist and the client. When trust and respect are foremost in a safe and judgment-free zone, all kinds of good things can happen.
