Scott Hanson is a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) who has over 23 years of experience. He received his BA in Social Work from the University of Northern Iowa in 1991 and earned his Master of Social Work from the University of Iowa in 1993. Since obtaining his degree, Mr. Hanson utilizes Brief Solutions, Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral techniques in guiding clients to improve their well-being and quality of life. Mr. Hanson has also been trained as an Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) therapist. Accelerated Resolution Therapy is an evidence based technique that addresses emotional regulation in patients who have been diagnosed with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma and a number of other psychiatric disorders.
